Already have a completed script ready to take to market? This professional consultation will provide you with a second opinion from a trusted expert in the industry, along with a few tools to make you even more confident to take the next step toward getting your script produced.

The coaching process begins with the reading of your screenplay or novel, or a review of a new idea, followed by a one-on-one, live or remote evaluation conference. During the session, Professor Marilyn Horowitz reviews all aspects of your project beginning with both its commercial viability and structure, then concluding with the actual writing / re-writing itself. As an integral part of the session, she will help you to determine step-by-step what needs to be done to bring the project to market readiness, and what that market is.

If appropriate, Marilyn can work further with you on an ongoing basis to support your process. Her goal is always to get your screenplay or manuscript into market-ready shape. Her experience as a producer of low-budget films and book author lend a practical, cost effective frame to the sometimes gnarly creation process. Since her deepest belief is that “writers write,” another goal is to help you create not just one project, but a body of work. This requires the refinement of your creative process so that stories can get well written in the least amount of time. Her writing method, The Horowitz System®, a system of visual exercises that train writers to think in a new and precise way, is an added asset that you will add to all that you already know, changing the way you write forever.

These sessions are designed for current students needing additional consultation on their script. Each session provides you with an additional hour of expert guidance to help you continue to take your script or writing abilities to the next level. The more additional sessions you order, the more you save (5 for $350/per session and 10 for $325/per session).
