Happy Friday!
I spent last week in a very nice hotel Cancun, Mexico.

I used the time as a writing retreat, so I could review the preceding year and design the coming one, as well as organize my writing time.
I soon realized that I had overextended myself, so instead of actively working on two projects, I was doing no work on three! After a long walk on the beach, I decided I had to retire my stand-up comedy work for a couple of months. The moment I made that choice, I became productive and focused on the other projects.
I also discovered that I frequently allow other events to impose on my writing schedule. My New Year’s resolution became: I will let nothing interfere with my writing time.
I’ve now set a time every week to review how well I’m doing, and I’ll keep you posted!
I’m excited to share our third edition of YourFridayFunnys, our new animated comedy newspaper. Please enjoy, subscribe and share with your friends. The subscription is 100% free!
My friend, Janice Zwail will be holding a class on Shamanism on February 4.

She is a fantastic teacher, and working with her is a unique and inspiring experience. I can’t recommend the class highly enough!
Here’s to your successful writing,
Professor Marilyn Horowitz
