Make Your Script Market-Ready With a Professional Dialogue Polish
To sell a screenplay, you need three things: a great story, memorable characters, and flawless dialogue. But like any marathon, finishing a script can leave you breathless and out of steam.
Why not hand the torch to me and let me help you over the finish line?
With a professional dialogue polish, I’ll make sure your dialogue is catchy, interesting, witty, and helps move the story along in a purposeful way. A “trim and style,” as I like to call it, retaining your voice while finding a more concise way to phrase the lines and propel the plot forward faster.
THIS IS WHAT SELLS!
Here’s an example:
INT. KITCHEN – MORNING
Mom comes running in with something in her hand.
MOTHER
’Morning, children. While I was out and about, I
discovered something I think that you might find
interesting.
OK, not bad. But wouldn’t this be better?
INT. KITCHEN – MORNING
Mom comes running in with something in her hand.
MOTHER
Hey, kids! Look what I found!
How the process works:
First, we set up a complimentary 15-minute consultation to determine the scope of your project and an appropriate fee structure. Once that’s agreed upon, you submit your screenplay or teleplay, which I clean up and give a dialogue polish. You then review the first revision, we discuss further changes, and I incorporate them into the draft. Once we agree on the final draft, the entire script is copy-edited and proofread.
Best of all, you have final say on all proposed changes while retaining sole rights and credit to your script. My name appears nowhere.
What you get:
- A complimentary 15-minute consultation
- A professional dialogue cleanup and polish
- One set of revisions
- A professional copy edit and proofread.
Remember, the competition is fierce out there, and even the greatest script can be improved. Don’t send out yours without a professional dialogue polish.
Additional services available:
- A professional script evaluation to make sure your story structure is perfect.
- Pitch coaching.
