This was an exciting week! My NYU class, Writing a Screenplay in 10 Weeks, met for the first time. I am fortunate to have students who are accomplished in their own fields bringing their expertise into the class. I am always so appreciative when I get a group who are synergistic and supportive!
I will be teaching another section in the Spring.
Another highlight of the week was having the opportunity to give a seminar at New York Women in Film and Television, Writing The Perfect Sitcom Pilot in 30 Days. Students received a free copy of my New York University textbook, The Four Magic Questions Of Screenwriting.
Lastly, I agreed to become a Scriptapalooza mentor, and am excited to be part of such a great outfit.
On a personal note, last Friday, I attended the United Nations Annual Staff party. There were live bands playing R&B, Disco, Salsa, Columbian, Jazz and Tango. Here I am with some of my Tango friends. A truly fun and international event.
Here’s to your successful writing!
