December 6, 2019 by Marilyn Horowitz

Happy Friday!

I hope you’ve had a great week!

I’ve had an exciting week! I’ve been practicing for my first Stand Up Comedy show at The Stand. This is the culmination of my Stand Up Comedy class at Laughing Buddha with Kevin Dombrowski . I have learned so much, and my classmates are all talented and belly laugh funny. Hope to see you there!

I was recently interviewed by the great Laura Steward  and you can listen to the podcast here. Check out her other shows, she is entertaining and wise. When can you get both gifts in a single podcast?

Finally, my NYU class all delivered their scripts on time. Woo hoo!!!! Kudos to all!  The class created ten new screenplays in eight weeks. I’m feeling pretty happy!

I wanted to highlight Tameka Mullins who handed in her script a week early. She’s super talented! Here’s a brief bio:

Tameka Mullins hails from the Motor City. Her short story, ‘Empty Lens’ was featured in the ‘Welcome Home’ YA anthology and she’s the author of the novella, 12 Hours of Daylight. She currently lives in New York City.
