The Horowitz System®, actually makes you a better writer.
The Horowitz System® is a proprietary writing system which allows people to write clearly and evocatively on any topic, efficiently and effectively. Through a series of organic pre-visualization exercises Professor Horowitz teaches students how to harness their unconscious. Writers can turn their hopes and fears, and stories from their lives and their imaginations into the elements that one must have before writing a screenplay, novel, narrative or non-fiction of any kind.
The elements acquired through the exercises build upon one another and are combined in a series of exercises where writers make a detailed, step-by-step narrative map to follow as they write. Through this, they gain a working knowledge of story structure, and will rediscover the knack that we all share for storytelling.
How Does The Horowitz System® Work?
The Horowitz System® uses a series of intuitive, pre-visualization exercises that show writers how to harness their unconscious and use it to craft the elements of dramatic narrative. It then takes the writer step-by-step through the entire process of writing a first draft, introducing a revolutionary take on the traditional three-act structure enabling clearer and more detailed outlining. When the elements created in the pre-visualization exercises are worked into the outline through writing, the result is an organic, finely tuned first draft with high stakes and memorable characters.
What Makes The Horowitz System® Better?
Simply put, The Horowitz System® teaches what was previously thought to be “unteachable” – how to be a better writer. The problem with most writing methods is that they often focus on structure and not enough on story. Despite this limitation, these methods can help you write a book or screenplay; however, only The Horowitz System® will change the way you write forever. As a result, the arduous process of rewriting becomes simple.
